Career Insights at Alumni Breakfast
Kijiji founder Janet Bannister shared career insights at the Alumni Breakfast in November.
Kijiji founder and Crescent parent Janet Bannister P’23 led an invigorating discussion about career paths and the tech sector at the Crescent Alumni Breakfast event on November 29, 2016.
Bannister, who is now a partner with Real Ventures, said “you need to drive your life, not let life drive you.” She said it’s important to check in with yourself frequently to make sure you are happy with what you are doing and are still growing, not stagnating.
Attended by 50 alumni and Crescent Upper School students, the Alumni Breakfast event was hosted by Jamie Coulter ’87 P’21 at Raymond James Ltd. in Toronto.
