As Crescent’s highest honour, the Wall of Honour celebrates extraordinary alumni who are living representations of all that Crescent endeavours to foster in its students and alumni. Wall of Honour inductees exemplify the qualities of outstanding leadership, courage, innovation, community service and generosity.
Any Crescent alumnus can nominate or endorse a candidate for the Wall of Honour.
Submissions for the Wall of Honour are reviewed by the Crescent Alumni Executive, along with the Executive Director of External Relations and the Headmaster. The Wall of Honour inductees are determined by vote of the Alumni Executive Committee, under the advice of the Director of Advancement. The selection requires final approval from the Executive Director of External Relations and the Headmaster.
The selected inductees will be notified of the decision in writing by the Chair of the Alumni Executive.
The inductee will be formally announced at the Alumni Leadership Reception. Due to the extremely high standards for this award, the Wall of Honour award may not be presented every year.
The recipients of the Wall of Honour are nominated by alumni community, reviewed by a selection body of the Crescent Alumni Executive and determined by majority vote of the Crescent Alumni Executive, with the final approval by Crescent School’s Headmaster and Director of External Relations.
Nominations for the Wall of Honour are welcome throughout the year. However, due to the extremely high standards for this award, Wall of Honour awards may not be presented each year.
